I am inextricably drawn to unconventional flowers, especially those that reveal the soft and the hard, the smooth and the sharp - the duality of personality.
Living in the present moment is so hard to do. We plan for the future, we reminisce about the past, but the present is all that is real. I have created this series by giving my fullest attention to the paint, the canvas, and my intuition.
Music is the inspiration behind the colors, shapes, and marks in these pieces. Songs bring memories and emotions to the fore front of our consciousness which is captured on canvas.
